Computer Training For Vocational Skills

The latest program within the framework of the Mahapadma Parartha Foundation is implemented at SMK Sirojul Huda 3. In accordance with its objectives, the Mahapadma Parartha Foundation (MaPa Foundation) wants to promote the importance of vocational skills for students. In collaboration with the literacy development team, the Sirojul Huda 3 Reading Room opened the door to teach younger siblings to practice using computers, for SMP and MTs students around Cijeruk. Initiated by Adi Sutiadi, as Chair of the Reading Room Literacy Team, this activity is also intended to foster student literacy awareness of computer-based technology media which is a must for students to master.

Taking place at the Computer Laboratory, the first batch of training for MTs At-Taqwa Cijeruk students was attended by 18 students accompanied by the principal, Farida Sintayani. Monday (01/02/2021). Under the guidance of a computer teacher at Sirojul Huda 3 Vocational School, the training went smoothly and with the high enthusiasm of the MTs At-Taqwa students, “The students told me they were very happy with this activity, even a student named Mutmainah, wanted further deepening activities so that they could learn more. master the computer,” he concluded.

This training is also an activity in order to introduce the existence of SMK Multimedia Sirojul Huda 3 to prospective new students, which is carried out in a positive and productive way. This training also fills the void of online learning that makes students alienated, due to the loss of normal teaching and learning activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. “We plan to schedule training once a week for students from various schools in the Cijeruk District,” said Heri Mardi Purwanto, Principal of SMK Sirojul Huda 3. This training applies strict health procedures by maintaining a safe distance, wearing masks and washing hands every 30 minutes. once,” said Pak Heri.
